WAIVER

This form must be filled in on behalf of your individual or group booking.

Alcohol, nudity and smoking are not permitted in the sauna and sauna site.

 

Jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.

Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes;

Sauna sessions of no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend between 5-15 min sessions)​

Being mindful and respectful of other users in the sauna; no shouting or being offensive

Being sensible in the water; entering slowly (no diving, jumping)

 

Not to stay in too long in the water in colder seasons (you may be refused entry into the sauna if you are experiencing after-drop, where your core temperature has dropped below a safe level

 

Being mindful of other users of the lake or plunge pools at all time

Not to dump water onto the hot rocks; slowly drizzle water carefully

Only pouring the provided ‘sauna water’ on hot rocks and nothing else.

Entering and exiting sauna in a safe manner.

Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.

All persons using the lake, plunge pools or showers for a "cold plunge/swim" do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a able to handle being exposed to the cold temperatures.

The lake at The Fallen Willow is not connected to rivers and unaffected by the possible pollution from rivers, and although we periodically test the water for human health, swimming in the lake is done so at your own risk.

You must be over the age of 16 to use the sauna.  Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult

If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use.

 

Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk.   Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

No dogs are allowed on site.
